Marilyn Webb Neagley is a non-fiction writer who has lived her life in Vermont.

Although raised in the village of Ascutney, Marilyn has spent most of her life in Shelburne where she now resides with her husband, Mark.

Her career began as an architectural interior designer. She then veered toward environmental stewardship and became president of an agricultural estate known as Shelburne Farms. Upon leaving that position, Marilyn advised many of Vermont’s non-profit organizations. She, with others, went on to bring mindfulness meditation to public schools. Marilyn has been a commentator for Vermont Public Radio and has written essays for her local newspaper.

Attic of Dreams is Marilyn’s new book. She previously wrote Walking through the Seasons, which earned an IPPY gold medal for best northeastern non-fiction. She, with Aostre N. Johnson Ed.D, co-edited Educating from the Heart. Her children's book, Loosie B. Goosie, is currently out of print.

Marilyn has three children, Anna, Heidi and Sam, and three grandchildren, Jada, Fia and Holden.
